The apartment is practically new and equipped with all kitchen utensils, tableware, and bath linens. Luz and Vasco were very kind and attentive (welcome gifts, fresh linens) and made us feel at home. The apartment is just a short walk from the city center. It was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend it!

We highly recommend our hosts. They are very nice, caring and can help in any matter. We felt like guests there, not customers. The apartment is very modern, comfortable and very clean. Hosts Luz and Vasco were amazing. From the reservation to the departure, they were always available and accessible. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a wonderful gift of local products, including cheese, jam, bolo lêvedo, and a refreshing drink. Vasco & Luze were very gracious hosts. We were greeted to our flat with a lovely welcome platter of local cheeses, bread, homemade jam, water & tea. The flat is impeccably clean and bright. Excellent location. Vasco checked in daily to see if there was anything we needed and/or that all was ok. One night we arrived home to a homemade fig cake hanging off our door that Luze had made for us. Lovely little touches that made you feel at home and very welcome.

Before our stay, Maria and I were in constant communication about our trip. I asked for a few restaurant recommendations and she sent us a thorough list including links to each place. I chose a place to celebrate my birthday and she happily made a reservation for us. Once we arrived, she was easy to get ahold of regarding getting into the place. We were so pleasantly surprised at all the little goodies and notes she left for us. She had a spread of several local snacks with their labels in both Portuguese and English. Maria went above and beyond and checked in on us often. She also arranged an airport pickup. The place itself was very new, clean, and modern. The kitchen was well equipped and it felt like being at a spa at times. We would stay there again!
